CEC visits accident victims at SNM Hospital, commends rescue teams

LEH, Aug 24: Chairman/CEC LAHDC Leh, Tashi Gyalson, along with DC/CEO LAHDC Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve and several councillors, visited SNM Hospital Leh to meet with victims of a recent road accident and offer support.
A statement said the visit aimed to assess the condition of the injured, reassure them, and ensure their needs are being met.
CEC Gyalson also visited the newly established Dialysis Centre at the hospital.
During the visit, the officials interacted with patients and hospital staff, discussing the accident and ongoing recovery efforts.
CEC Gyalson commended DC Sukhadeve for his exemplary leadership in the rescue operation.
He also praised the swift and dedicated efforts of the army, air force, police, medical staff, and volunteers, which were crucial in saving lives during the historic rescue operation.
