Celebrity singers to perform on daily basis at Devotional Song Competition

KATRA, Oct 18: On second day of the preliminary round in ongoing All India Devotional Song Competition at Yog Ashram Complex Katra, Sukhjinder from Punjab took 1st position.
2nd position was bagged by Shubham Banerjee from Jammu whereas Nidhi Singh from Jammu and Sumit Sharma from Hoshiarpur shared 3rd position. Among the 10 auditioned participants, 3 of them were from outside J&K. The first three winners were provided with the cash prizes of Rs 10,000/- , Rs 5,000/-and Rs 3,000/- respectively.
The Devotional Song Competition was adjudged by the panels of experts in music, including celebrity Dr Surinder Kumar Sharma, HoD Govt Degree College Sunni Shimla; Dr Usha Bhagati, Ex HoD Music of MAM College Jammu; Dr C L Verma, Ex Chairman Post Graduate University of Himachal Pradesh.
Famous celebrity singer Masha Ali sang beautiful songs and everyone was dancing on his tunes and likewise former winner of All India Devotional Song Competition and now a big name of devotional songs in the Industry, Naveen Punjabi enthralled the audience with his melodious songs.
The proceeding of Competition was conducted by Rakesh Wazir who is also the Chairman of the said Competition. He informed that several famous singers who are lined up for their guest performances on the stage during ongoing Competition, include Shanker Sawhney and Anjusha on 22nd October, Amrinder Bobby, Sonali Dogra, Mool Raj, Johny Sufi on 23rd Oct, Kiran Baba on 21st October, Rajan Gill on 19th October and likewise the dates of some other big names are going to be finalised soon. Live telecast of the event is available on Mh1 from 9 PM onwards daily.
The All India Devotional Song Competition is being organized by SMVD Shrine Board, Deptt of J&K Tourism, Mh1 in association with J&K Bank, Nice Gems, DIVINITI, Nidheesh Builders Jammu Pvt Ltd, Pure Roots, Vishwayatan Yog Ashram Complex with active support of District Administration.
