Mumbai, Jan 28: Public sector lender Central Bank of India reported a rise of 70.18 per cent in its consolidated net profit for the quarter ended on December 31, 2021 at Rs.282.48 crores as against a net profit of Rs 165.99 crores for the quarter ended on December 31, 2020.
Total income for the quarter under review was marginally up by 1.66 per cent to Rs 6,693.77 crores as compared to Rs 6,584.31 crores for the quarter ended on December 31, 2020.
Gross NPA was Rs 27,667.49 crores in Q3 FY 2022 against Rs 29,530.19 crore in Q3 FY 2021. Net NPA stood at Rs 7,114.53 crore in Q3 FY 2022 against Rs 7,535.71 crore in Q3 FY 2021.
GNPA was at 15.10 per cent of gross advances as on December 31, 2021, compared to 16.22 per cent as on December 31, 2020.
