JAMMU, Nov 18: Central Sanskrit University, Shri Ranbir Campus Jammu signed MoU with IIT Jammu Campus in various academic programs.
Campus Director Prof Madan Mohan Jha, Dr Madan Kumar Jha of Shiksha-Shastri Department, Prof Manoj Singh Gaur, Director of IIT Jammu, Dr Amitash Ojha, Dr Lakhwinder Singh and Dr Jobi Varghese were present on this occasion.
Prof Madan Mohan Jha, Director, Central Sanskrit University, Jammu Campus informed that MoU of Sanskrit University with IIT Jammu has been done for various academic programmes. Under this, along with academic programs between the teachers of IIT Jammu and Sanskrit University, curriculum and extra-curricular activities will be conducted for the students. Some short-term courses will also be conducted by both the institutions.
“This type of academic collaboration between IIT Jammu and Central Sanskrit University is unique in the sense that it involves blending of technology with tradition and modernity,” said Mr Jha.
On this occasion, a certificate course in Sanskrit was launched by the Sanskrit University at IIT Jammu.
