Central University of Jammu

Sir,
The creation of two central universities in J&K is a welcome step ahead. It is the need of the hour in this competitive world.Like other states, the J&K state is too grown up in all facets. However, untill and unless, the required infrastructure of these prestigious institutions is  established, the cherished dreams of the people and particularly of students would not yield desired results.
At present the Central University of Jammu(CUJ) started induction programme in eight disciplines  and five integrated M.Phil/PhD programmes in coming month. But the apathy lies in the fact that the rented accommodation of CUJ has been shifted with every session. The brazen neglect by Govt. in clearing hurdles like land acquisition and compensation, puts the future of the students in dark.
Initially CUJ is in controversy regarding  shifting of its campus from Jammu to Kashmir and now Govt. again delays its establishment process by not clearing all decks necessary for its creation. The State Govt should devote its focused attention towards creation of its required infrastructure, so that within coming years it becomes a full fledged central university with more PG, M.Phil/PhD programmes and a working campus of its own.
Yours etc…..
