JAMMU, Oct 25: The Department of English at Central University Jammu (CUJ) hosted alumni meet at Brigadier Rajinder Singh, MVC Auditorium.
The alumni meet was organized under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof Sanjeev Jain, and stewardship of Registrar Prof Yashwant Singh, and Dean of Students’ Welfare Prof Ritu Bakshi.
With the invaluable support and guidance of Dr K Rajesh, HoD English, and Prof Vandana Sharma, Dean of the School of Languages, the event was meticulously planned to ensure an engaging and inclusive experience. Coordinated by Dr Neena Gupta Vij and Dr Parveen Kumari, the event fostered a strong sense of continuity within the department, connecting past and present students in a lively, welcoming environment.
Alumni shared their experiences and insights. The day featured interactive sessions, exciting activities, and inspiring talks, making it a memorable and enriching occasion for all attendees. Alumni members provided valuable insights into their professional journeys, offering advice and motivation to freshers who eagerly participated by asking questions and engaging in lively discussions.
The activities and games organized for the day further encouraged interaction between the attendees, creating a joyful and dynamic environment. The event concluded with the distribution of mementoes to alumni recognizing their contribution and participation in this special occasion.
