JAMMU, July 1: Central University of Jammu (CUJ) has once again demonstrated its commitment to academic excellence by securing impressive positions in two prestigious national rankings.
In the IIRF Ranking 2024, the University has achieved the 39th position among all Central Universities in India. Furthermore, in the Nature Index Ranking 2024, the Central University of Jammu has been ranked 49th among all Indian universities.
The Indian Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF) assesses universities based on several parameters including teaching, learning, research, outreach, and inclusivity. CUJ’s significant position in these rankings underscores its growing prominence and impact in the realm of higher education.
The Nature Index, known for its rigorous evaluation of research output across high-quality science journals, highlights CU Jammu’s significant contributions to scientific research, particularly in the fields of Chemistry, Earth sciences, Physical sciences, and Life sciences. This achievement marks a significant milestone for the institution, reflecting its growing influence and excellence in scientific research.
Prof Sanjeev Jain, Vice Chancellor of CUJ, expressed his elation at these achievements stating that, “These rankings are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our faculty, researchers, students and staff. We are committed to maintaining and enhancing our standards of excellence in education and research.”
