JAMMU, Oct 14: The Central Government is likely to hike Dearness Allowance (DA) for its employees and pensioners by four percent with effect from July 1, 2023.
The hike, which will benefit 47 lakh Central Government employees and 68 lakh pensioners, will take the total DA from 42 percent to 46 percent.
An announcement for increase in DA is expected before Diwali festival.
