JAMMU, Oct 9: Shiv Sena (Bala Saheb Thackeray) today said that the Union Government has plunged the Jammu and Kashmir especially the people of Jammu into chaos and confusion post 5th August 2019 due to lack of concrete road map.
The future of J&K seems to be bleak in every aspect whether it is the restoration of peace, statehood, development and employment. This was asserted by National organizers of the party, Gulab Chand Dubey, Ashok Tiwari and Vinay Shukla, who are here on a three-day visit, while jointly addressing the media persons. They were flanked by J&K president of the Party, Manish Sahni said.
Sahni said, “There has been no change in the situation in Kashmir. Non Muslims are being targeted selectively. The nefarious acts of Pakistan and China are also continuing. The confidence of the people of J&K towards the present Government has decreased, as it has fully failed on all fronts”.
Gulab Chand Dubey raised questions on the unabated terrorism in Kashmir asserting that it remains a challenge even today and this fire is engulfing Jammu along with Kashmir. Encounters between security forces and terrorists have become a daily routine besides terrorist organizations continuing to recruit the locals, he added.
Ashok Tiwari expressed deep concern over the deteriorating economic condition of the UT post breakout of COVID-19 Pandemic. He said there has been no significant improvement in the situation even today.
Vinay Shukla said that despite Government’s tall claims of increasing employment opportunities, the unemployment rate of J&K is much high.
All the leaders jointly appealed the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to fulfill the promises made with the people and restore peace in J&K.
