RAJOURI, Apr 8: Carrying-on with his mass contact programme with the common masses, BJP senior leader and MLC Vibodh Gupta today visited various parts of Rajdhani village in Thanamandi and enquired about various day to day problems and issues of locals.
On the occasion, a large number of locals shared their various problems and issues with the MLC. Reacting to these, MLC announced 40 electric poles and a hand pump for the area.
While addressing the gathering, Vibodh said that Centre and State Governments have created massive growth and development opportunities and avenues. He also gave details about the various centrally sponsored schemes and said that it is BJP Government which has given 9 crore LPG gas connection to the poor and weaker section of the society in just four years.
He also reacted very sharply to the recent statement of Dr. Farooq Abdullah wherein he has said that Muslims are feeling insecure under BJP regime. This he said is the sheer frustration of Dr Abdullah to grab the power by dividing the innocent and poor people.
Referring to the composite culture of the country, Vibodh said that unity in diversity is our main strength. He also took on successive Congress governments for their various anti-Muslim policies and for treating Muslims as its vote bank.
He called on everybody to become part of the massive development programmes of the Modi Government, as it is the BJP which has always united people.
MLC assured the locals that his regular visits to such areas are to take a stock of the ground development programmes and accordingly facilitate early resolution of the various genuine problems of the common man.
Among others present were Abdul Gani Shawl, Mirza Inayat, Choudhary Manzoor, Liaqat Mughal, Sheraz Ahmad, Mohammad Shabir and Mohammad Bashir.
