NEW DELHI: Home Minister Rajnath Singh today said the Centre has decided to give 3,000 jobs to migrants from Kashmir valley.
Addressing a press conference in Jammu on the conclusion of his four-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir, Mr Rajnath Singh said, ”The Centre is trying to give equitable development to all the three regions of Jammu and Kashmir. Several projects are under implementation under PMDP.
”The Centre has decided to give 3,000 jobs to migrants from Kashmir valley and Rs 1,080 crore has been sanctioned to the State under this head.” He also said that the Government has increased the compensation for those who get killed in ceasefire violations from Rs 1 lakh to 5 lakh. (AGENCIES)
