Centre’s normalcy claims misleading: Karra

JAMMU, Mar 28: Paying rich tributes to the martyred Policemen who laid down their lives while bravely fighting with the militants in Kathua, JKPCC chief, Tariq Hameed Karra has termed the terror situation in parts of Jammu as grim and demanded more effective strategy to deal with the deteriorated situation in the region.
Strongly condemning the terror incident in Kathua, JKPCC chief expressed great shock over the loss of precious lives of security forces in gun battle.
Karra expressed great concern over the grim situation in various parts of Jammu region and said that the balloon of false and misleading claims of normalcy by the Central government stands burst due to series of terror incidents in Jammu region in recent past.
“The Centre remains in denial mode to divert attention of the nation,” he maintained adding: “The Centre ignored warning signals and the voice of people from ground which led to deterioration of the situation.”
Karra was joined by several senior leaders from the district including Ch Lal Singh, Ex- MP, Dr Manohar Lal Sharma, Ex- Minister, DCC president, Pankaj Dogra, Ex MLA, Durga Dass, Naresh Sharma, Kajal Rajput, Rakesh Chaudhary, Nirdosh Sharma and others.
