SAMBA, July 26: On the instruction of higher authorities, Chief Education Officer Samba today conducted random checking of the mid-day meal at various schools in Vijaypur zone.
CEO Ravi Dubey along with his team of Education Department, visited Middle Schools Jakh, Gudwal, Rajri etc for the random checking of mid-day meal being served to the students there.
The CEO also issued instructions to the schools authorities for maintaining hygiene of the mid-day meal by using only packed and quality material, proper hand wash, cleanliness of the utensils and sensitization of the concerned cooks.
The CEO made it clear that the mid-day meal must be tasted first by head of the school or any teacher before serving the same to the children.
The inspection team comprised of Assistant Director Planning in the office of CEO Samba, ZEO Vijaypur and others.
