JAMMU, Mar 29: Chief General Manager ,State Bank of India (SBI), Chandigarh Circle, Anil Kishore today inaugurated the training institute of the bank here today which is the first of its kind in North India.
The training institute has the capacity of 60 trainees with 100 percent digital infrastructure, spacious and rich library along with recreational centre having gym and yoga facilities.
Speaking on the occasion, CGM said that it is the world class (ISO 9001-2015 ) Training Institute in the State with ultramodern modern air conditioning facilities. The Institute which is called SBI Learning Centre is first of its kind in North India, he added.
He said the faculty members are well qualified having completed courses of Harvard University.
Mr Kishore also informed that the Bank is very aggressive in digitalization of banking operations and has developed customer friendly and time banking channels apps like Buddy, SBI Quick, SBI Any where, besides most popular mobile banking services (SBI Freedom), Net Banking , online customer accusation solutions, instant money transfer products etc.
B L Jalali Assistant General Manager SBI heading the learning Centre arranged the programme of digital awareness and later debate was held on demonetization digital financial literacy.
