CGST officer accorded warm send off

JAMMU, Oct 30: The CGST Commissionerate Jammu accorded warm send off to S K Gupta, Assistant Commissioner (AC) who superannuated after completing 35 years of meritorious service in Customs, Central Excise and GST at their Headquarter office at OB-32, Rail Head Complex, Jammu.
The farewell was accorded in the presence of C L Dogra (Additional Commissioner), Dr Vishal Chaudhary (Joint Commissioner), Dr Gaurav Mittal (Deputy Commissioner), Manoj Pandoi (Assistant Commissioner), Dr Safdar Ali (Assistant Commissioner), Dr Ajay Tadia (Assistant Commissioner) and other employees and family members of the superannuating officer.
S K Gupta in his illustrious career worked in various capacities at Patiala, Moga, Ludhiana, Amritsar, New Delhi and Jammu. The major highlights of his career were detection of Rs 600 crore tax evasion in Customs, seizure of 50 kg heroin in Amritsar and 25 kg heroin in R S Pura Jammu.
In a message, H B Negi, Commissioner, CGST Commissionerate, Jammu, wished the superannuating officer happy and healthy post retirement life.
