SRINAGAR, Oct 13: Ch Ghulam Ahmed, father of former minister and senior National Conference leader, Ch Mohd Ramzan passed away today.
National Conference president and Member Parliament, Dr Farooq Abdullah, vice president Omar Abdullah and other leaders expressed profound grief over the sad demise of Ch Ramzan’s father and prayed to the God for the peace to the departed soul.
Dr Farooq, Omar Abdullah, senior leaders- Nasir Aslam Wani, Sharief-ud-Din Sharik, Mir Saifullah, Showkar Mir and others also visted Handwara and participated in the Namaz-e-Janaza of Ch Ghulam Ahmed. Senior members MA Lone, Ali Mohd Sagar, Mohd Shafi Uri, Ab Rahim Rathar, Mian Altaf and others have also condoled the sad demise of Ch Ramzan’s father.
