JAMMU, Feb 10: Lt. Gen. Sanjiv Chachra, Northern Army Commander met Governor, N N Vohra at the Raj Bhavan, here today.
Lt. Gen. Chachra gave an extensive briefing to the Governor about the overall security scenario in the Northern Command area, particularly along International Border, LoC and the LAC.
The Governor and the General discussed several important issues relating to security management in the coming months.
Earlier, Lt. General Chachra called on Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah here and briefed him about the prevailing security situation in the State.
