JAMMU, Apr 8: A chain snatcher has been arrested by Gandhi Nagar police from Apsara Road.
As per police sources, a person identified as Anil Kumar, a resident of Greater Kailash snatched gold chain of a lady near Apsara Road in Gandhi Nagar.
The lady raised alarm and the passerby nabbed the accused.
Police team from Gandhi Nagar police station also reached the spot and arrested the chain snatcher.
A case has been registered against the chain snatcher at Gandhi Nagar police station and investigation started.
The arrest has been made by SHO Gandhi Nagar DySP (P) Mir Imtiyaz under the supervision of SDPO South Sachin Gupta and SP South Shaazad Salaria.
