JAMMU, Oct 7: J&K Grameen Bank today launched IMPS services.
This is in addition to the NEFT and RTGS services being already utilized by the customers through branch channels.
The branch IMPS services were inaugurated by bank’s Chairman Sudhir Gupta at Head Office Jammu. The inauguration was made in presence of bank’s General Manager Jammu Ajay Kohli, Chief of AI&V Vinay Gupta and all the Department Heads.
JKGB has already been providing IMPS services though its own Mobile Banking Application namely JKGB m-Bank since April 2020.
The launch of branch IMPS services coupled with IMPS services through bank’s mobile Application shall absolutely boost the morale of bank’s customers, as they shall transfer funds to any account of any bank on immediate and hassle free basis.
Salient features of the facility are secure and instant funds transfer, bank customer can visit any bank branch and transact through branch IMPS by providing remitter and beneficiary details after filing the form and two modes of funds transfer are available through Branch IMPS.
Sudhir Gupta articulated appreciation towards the DAC team headed by Jyotsna Garib and lauded the efforts of the entire staff involved.
