RAMBAN, Dec 24: Shiv Sena J&K unit led by its president, Manish Sahni today visited Chakka Kundi village here and listened problems being faced by the people there.
The visiting Shiv Sena team assured to resolve issues in the village related to basic amenities.
On this occasion many villagers joined Shiv Sena.
The villagers apprised Shiv Sena leaders about issues like drinking water crisis, poor education and health facilities, bad roads etc.
They also said that benefit of old age pension was not available in their village.
Another problem in the area was that even after two decades, most of the people could not get the compensation for their land used in hydroelectric project.
Sahni announced Ramban unit of Sena with local Tilak Raj as district president.
Meenakshi Chhibber, Shiv Sena Women Wing president and Vikas, general secretary were also present on the occasion.
