SRINAGAR, Nov 16: Vigilance Organization Kashmir today produced challan against officers and officials of Cooperative Societies Anantnag for committing misappropriation by misusing their official position.
Challan in Case FIR No: 09/2008, against accused public servants namely Mohammad Abdullah Bhat of Samthan Bijebehara, the then Asst. Dy Registrar Cooperative Societies Anantnag, Mohammad Akber Bhat, the then Jr Assistant in the office of Registrar Cooperative Societies Anantang and Gh Hassan Shah of Kadipora, Gujnag, Anchidoora Anantang, the then Challan Clerk in the office of Assistant Director CA&PD Anantnag, was produced in the Court of Additional Anti-corruption Judge Anantang, presided by Rajive Gupta, Additional Session Judge Anantnag.
The instant case was registered on outcome of a verification conducted into allegations that accused public servants by abuse of their official positions have committed misappropriation of 39 Kilo Liters Kerosene Oil earmarked for various societies of District Anantang for the month of February 2007 at subsidized rate.
The next date of the case has been fixed on January 19, 2016.
