JAMMU, Apr 28: Crime Branch Jammu has produced challan in the case regarding misappropriation of Government ration worth crores of rupees by the officials of CA&PD Department, Rajouri.
Challan in case FIR No. 11/2012 U/S 420,409,467, 468, 471,120-B/RPC r/w section 5(2) PC Act Svt. 2006 was produced yesterday in the Court of Anti-Corruption, Rajouri.
During the course of investigation, as per the challan, it has been established that huge quantity of ration lifted by CA&PD Rajouri from FCI Godown, Rajouri had been fraudulently shown issued to the private ration dealers much in excess to their authorized quota in the district. The excess quantity of ration so shown fictitiously dispatched to dealers has been found misappropriated by the CA&PD officials, who after hatching a criminal conspiracy between themselves had drawn the carriage charges of this excess ration to the tune of crores of rupees.
The CAPD officials involved in the misappropriation of Government ration, are Mohd. Ashraf of Kandi, Koteranka, at present Ward No. 4, near Khandli Bridge, Rajouri, the then Control Clerk, CA&PD, Rajouri; Mohd Alyas of Rajdhani, Thanamandi, the then Store Keeper Food store CA&PD, Rajouri (now expired); Kewal Krishan of Ward Number 9, Rajouri, at present Shiv Nagar, Jammu, the then Assistant Director CA&PD, Rajouri (now retired); Tinderpal Singh alias T P Singh of 1602/12, Guru Nanak Nagar, Jammu, the then AD CA&PD Rajouri (now retired); . Mohd. Bashir Choudhary of H No. 1, Ward No. 1, Housing Colony, Udhampur, the then TSO Rajouri (now retired); Abdul Rouf of Ward No 8, near Girls Hr Secondary School, Rajouri, the then TSO Rajouri (now retired); Suresh Chander of Ward No 4, Rajouri, Weighman CA&PD Rajouri; . Mubashir Riyaz of Rajdhani Tehsil Thanamandi, the then Night Chowkidar, CA&PD Rajouri; Madan Lal of Rajouri City, the then Salesman Sale Depot Rajouri “B”, at present Salesman Nowshera; . Mir Mohd of Tarhote, Tehsil Surankote District Poonch, the then Salesman Sale Depot Rajouri “A” (now expired); Lakhpat Rai of Sunderbani near Ashram, District Rajouri, the then Accountant CA&PD, Rajouri (now retired) and Harnam Singh of Rajpura Kamlia, Tehsil Nowshera, the then Accountant CA&PD, Rajouri, at present Assistant Accounts Officer, BDO Office, Qila Darhal, Rajouri.
