JAMMU, Dec 28: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) today expressed serious concern over the terror operation in the close part of Jammu city, exposing the hollow claims of complete normalcy.
Reacting sharply to the incident, JKPCC said although our security forces eliminated three terrorists, without any loss of other life, however this incident has proved that the challenge of terrorism is not over yet.
Chief spokesperson of the Party Ravinder Sharma termed the incident of terrorist presence in the nearby parts of the hearts of Jammu city as reflection of the ground situation despite tall claims of the Government to the contrary. It indicates that the challenge of terrorism is not yet over, he asserted.
The bravery and alertness of all ranks of security forces is appreciable but the fight to finish the terrorist threat is yet not over and no area is totally safe and secure, as indicated by this incident, he added. How could the terrorists reach upto Sidhra is a matter of investigation, he questioned.
“We are together in the fight against terrorism and defeating the designs of enemies of the nation but the Government of the day has to understand the gravity of the threat and recognize the efforts and sacrifices of all those fighting against the nefarious designs of terrorists and their mentors in Pakistan,” Sharma said.
