JAMMU, Dec 18: BJP leader Arun Gupta alias Annu today organized a meeting of BJP candidates from three city seats and representatives of Chamber of Commerce and Industry to garner the support of traders for the Party.
The meeting among the other representatives of Chamber of Commerce was attended by its president Rakesh Gupta. Besides All Indian BJP Trade Cell co-convenor, Ramesh Goyal, BJP organization general secretary, Ashok Kaul and MLA Jammu West and former Union Minister Prof Chaman Lal Gupta, it was attended by two candidates of Jammu East, Rajesh Gupta and Jammu West, Sat Sharma. However the candidate of Gandhi Nagar Constituency, Kavinder Gupta could not turn up in the meeting due to his pre-occupation.
The Chamber president assured the meeting that the trading community will support the Party to fulfill the dream of Prime Minister, Narender Modi. He however cautioned the State leadership of BJP that it should not take the support of people for granted and they should come to the expectations of masses by fulfilling the poll promises.
