JAMMU, Mar 24: A delegation of the Chamber of Traders Federation Jammu, led by its president Yash Paul Gupta, called on the Minister of State for Finance Pawan Gupta in his office chamber at Civil Secretariat and apprised him of the suggestions, which were already given to Finance Minister Dr Haseeb Drabu.
Yash Paul Gupta complained to the MoS Finance that most of their suggestions have remained untouched in the budget, presented in the House on Sunday. He listed these suggestions, such as development of wholesale market, raising of exemption limit, need for uniform tax structure, replacement of warranty goods, diversion of automobile trade in CSD sale, amnesty for inadvertent defaulters, etc.
Pawan Gupta went through the suggestions and explained that the present Government had not much time to go in details before presenting the budget. However, he assured that the Government was very serious in addressing all the important issues, raised by the Chamber of Traders Federation.
The delegation was comprised of Neeraj Anand, Chander Gulati, Dinesh Gupta, Ajay Mahajan, Balvinder Singh, Rajesh Gupta, Kirti Gupta, Bhushan Gupta, Vinod Mahajan and Bal Krishan Gupta.
