JAMMU, Aug 21: A meeting of Jammu City Ration Dealers Union (JCRDU) was held here at Belicharana under the chairmanship of working president of the Union, Surinder Singh.
In meeting, the Ration Dealers of Jammu City unanimously elected Champawati, senior member of the Union, as Election Commissioner for upcoming elections of the Union.
Dates for election to elect president of the Union will soon be announced by the newly elected Election Commissioner.
Speaking in the meeting Champawati assured all the Ration Dealers present in the meeting that free and fair election based on democratic principles would be conducted.
