Charak Biradari Mahasabha elections on June 23

JAMMU, May 18: All India Charak Biradari Mahasabha has declared to hold the election of the office bearers of the Mahasabha on June 23.
Talking to media persons here today, president of the Mahasabha, Rakesh Singh Charak said that this significant event will determine the leadership of the Charak biradari in the J&K UT. The election will be conducted through ballot system, and will be held at Shiv Charak Bhawan Lane No. 7, Greater Kailash Jammu on the scheduled date.
While referring to the election schedule he said on May 28 and 29, 2024 candidates will file nomination papers before the Election Commission for the posts of president, vice president and general secretary. May 30 will be the date of withdrawal of nomination.
The symbols will be allotted to the contesting candidates by the Elections Commissioner/ Returning Officer on May 31. The elections will be held on Sunday, June 23 from 8 am to 5 pm and the result will also be declared on the same day.
Rakesh Singh Charak further said that All India Charak Biradari Mahasabha considers these elections as crucial milestone in shaping the future of the community. He said mini-buses will also be provided in several villages of district Jammu and samba on that day. He appealed to the Charak biradari to participate in the elections.
