Charak Biradari Sabha elects new body

SAMBA, June 19: In a general meeting of Charak Biradri Sabha held at Bari Brahmana under the chairmanship of Th Gulchain Singh Charak president Dogra Sadar Sabha (DSS) Jammu and former Minister the new body of the Sabha was announced the elections for which were held recently.
Ajmer Singh has been elected unopposed president of the Sabha while Ashok Charak a social activist and Trade Union leader was re-elected as general secretary. Pawan Singh was elected as senior vice president of the Sabha.
Thakur Gulchain Singh Charak while addressing a large gathering of the Sabha from various villages of Samba and Jammu districts on the occasion said that the Sabha is a registered organization and it has completed election process as per its Constitution. Today Assistant Returning Officers, Baldev Singh, Sukhdev Singh, Dr Gansham Singh, and Raghubir Singh submitted the election results including papers of notification, contesting documents of competitors. He said that the forms of four Contestants were received on mentioned time.
The newly elected president Ajmer Singh Charak complimented all for their cooperation. He said that he will work after consulting to all and will work to save Mandir land.
