Charak pledges to resolve villagers’ issues

JAMMU, Nov 24: Former Minister and senior Congress leader, Gulchain Singh Charak today pledged that he would address villagers’ issue with utmost honesty and without any delay if voted to power.
Addressing a series of public meetings in Prithipura, Chorli, Mehmoodpur, Deoli and Khojipur villages, which were attended by hundreds of villagers besides Sarpanchs, Panchs, Congress workers and local leaders, Charak said, “the un-attended local issues of villagers will be amongst his top priorities, if voted to power.”
Charak expressed confidence that Congress party will emerge victorious in the upcoming Assembly elections. He, however, urged people to strengthen the hands of the party by casting their votes in large numbers so that a people friendly Government in the State is formed to accelerate the development on all the fronts.
Earlier, during interactions with people, Charak observed that they were lot of unattended issues of the villagers including proper transportation to the villages, availability of medical staff and life saving medicines in the local dispensaries, up- gradation of the dispensaries to PHCs, better irrigation facilities, regular supply of electricity and drinking water, etc.
A number of local Congress leaders and new entrants spoke during these meetings and highlighted the profile of Gulchain Singh Charak and his achievements, dedication and experience in the past for welfare and development of the Bishnah constituency.
