Charak raises concern over deteriorating infrastructure in Bari Brahmana

JAMMU, Aug 20: Gulchain Singh Charak, President Dogra Sadar Sabha (DSS) today raised his concerns over the deteriorating state of infrastructure in Bari Brahmana.
The issue was raised by the residents of Mohalla Welfare Committee of Ward No 6, during their meeting with G.S Charak held here today.
The residents apprised him of various pressing issues affecting the residents, particularly the condition of the lanes and drains and highlighted their demand for maintenance of the lanes, clogged drains and accumulation of waste thus creating unhygienic conditions.
The delegation also raised the issue of increasing incidents of theft in the locality, which have left residents feeling vulnerable. They urged for enhanced security measures and better vigilance to curb the growing crime rate.
Furthermore, the delegation demanded the installation of speed breakers near Ratna Resort on the Bari Brahmana-Bishnah Link Road, an area known for frequent accidents, to ensure road safety for pedestrians and motorists alike.
Charak after listening to the concerns of the delegation assured them of his full support in addressing these issues and called upon the local administration to take swift and effective action.
He urged upon the government to deploy special personnel to oversee the maintenance of the area and to ensure that the basic infrastructure, including sanitation and security, is properly managed.
Among others who were the part of delegation included Inder Jeet Bhagat, Roshan Lal Choudhary, Yash Paul, Om Prakash, Jagdev Singh, Rakesh Singh, Heemraj, Ramesh Kumar and Ashok Kumar.
