SRINAGAR, May 22: Baramulla police arrested three persons including a Sarpanch with charas at Rattan.
A police spokesperson said that a Police checking naka party of Pattan intercepted a Maruti car bearing registration number JK01H/1397 on National Highway near Hyderbeigh Pattan. During the search of the car, ninety grams of charas was recovered.
The driver of the vehicle Nazir Ahmad Lone son of Ghulam Mohammad, of Delina, Baramulla along with Tariq Ahmad Dar, sarpanch of Doolipora, Kreeri, son of Mohammad Sultan of Doolipora and Hilal Ahmad Wani son of Ghulam Nabi of Doolipora, boarded in the car were arrested. The vehicle has been seized. A case was registered in this regard.
