Charges framed against 2 in mentally retarded girls’ rape case

JAMMU, July 10: In the much-publicized case of sexual exploitation of mentally retarded girls at Rotary Inner Wheel Home, Presiding Officer of Fast Track Court Sanjeev Gupta today discharged six persons and framed charges against two others.
Those discharged by the court at the stage of framing charges are Girdhari Lal Koul, Principal Rotary Inner Wheel Home, Rajinder Kapoor, Secretary Rotary Inner Wheel Home, Dr Raj Sharma, Dr Raman (owner of Aastha Nursing Home), P N Dubey, President Rotary Inner Wheel Home and his wife Ravi Dubey. The charges have been framed against Angad Kumar and Surjit Kumar.
