JAMMU, Nov 27: Chairman NPP and former minister Harsh Dev Singh appointed Surinder Chauhan as District president (Jammu Rural) of Panthers Party here today.
Chauhan while speaking on the occasion said that NPP was the only regional party of Jammu region which could provide justice to the people who had been bearing the pain of discrimination doled out to them in all spheres for the last 70 years. He said that in the last four years the party had lodged more than 400 protests in Jammu and more than 50 protests in New Delhi for raising Jammu centric issues which BJP miserably failed to do so during its rule.
