JAMMU, Jan 12: The Chenab College of Education, in collaboration with the Council for Teacher Education (CTEF – J&K Chapter), organized an extension lecture on the theme “National Education Policy NEP (2020): futuristic approach to teacher education.”
The resource person on this occasion was Dr Jaspal Singh Warwal, Coordinator B Ed programme (Directorate of Distance Education, University of Jammu). He enlightened the students as well as faculty about the NEP 2020 with special reference to teacher education.
Dr Singh also emphasized the need of creative & hardworking pupil teachers in teaching profession.
The programme was indeed very interesting and informative to all and was attended by the students and faculty of the college. At the outset, Principal of the College Dr Sunita Sharma presented a welcome address.
In the end, an interactive session was also held wherein the pupil teachers clarified their doubts regarding the methodologies. The programme ended with vote of thanks by Megha Jasrotia.
