BHADARWAH, May 12: State Forest Corporation Employees Union Chenab Valley today held a meeting in the premises of office of State Forest Corporation Employees Union, under the chairmanship of Union President, Mohd Iqbal Quareshi to highlight their long pending genuine demands particularly release of DA installments.
Speaking on the occasion, Quareshi said that they had discussed their demands many times with the Managing Director, J&K State Forest Corporation, including during his tour at Doda-Bhaderwah and also in his office Chamber at Jammu, and the MD had vowed during the meeting with the Union members on March 1, 2012 that their genuine demands would be considered appropriately, but nothing has been done so far.
The meeting appealed the MD to relieve the employees from hardships by releasing their DA installments.
Among others who attended the meeting included Bashir Ahmed Shapoo, Tanvir Ahmed Malik, Ab Hafeez Wani, Ab Gani Malik and many others.
