JAMMU, Jan 16: A novelist, columnist, screen writer, television personality and motivational speaker Chetan Bhagat delivered a talk on the theme “How to be a Super Achiever” at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), Katra where hundreds of students participated enthusiastically.
The celebrity author discussed the guru mantra for success with a punch line ‘keep improving yourself’.
Notably, Bhagat is very popular among students and many of them want to make a career in creative writing.
Chetan Bhagat made the entire session very interactive. He took queries from the students and provided his expert comments.
Dr Sanjeev Jain, Vice-Chancellor, SMVDU believes that the University students must get a first-hand life-learning experience through such motivational talks.
He stated that a perfect balance in a student’s life would be maintained through a combination of academic and extra-curricular activities.
On the occasion, Prof V Verma, Dean, School of Sciences presented a memento to the motivational speaker.
In the end, BK Bhatia, Training and Placement Officer presented vote of thanks.
