JAMMU, Dec 3: Deputy Chief Minister and Congress candidate from Chhamb constituency Tara Chand said that all out efforts have been made to address the issues being faced by the people living in the constituency.
Addressing a massive rally after filing nomination papers, Chand stated that he is indebted to the people who have given him mandate to represent them for record three times.
He said the constituency has witnessed unprecedented development in the recent years and is now on among the top in road infrastructure, adding that road connectivity has seen tremendous growth and now every village of the constituency is connected by more than one road.
“I have dedicatedly served the people and once again commit to all of you for leaving no stone unturned in addressing the problems of the constituency”, he added.
Calling upon people not to fall prey to the divisive forces, Tara Chand said certain parties are spreading false campaign and trying to deviate attention of the people from core issues of peace, prosperity and development.
“It is duty of all to make the masses aware of these parties who give hollow slogans and all of you have to join hands in showing that people of the constituency won’t allow the nefarious designs of such elements become successful”, he added.
Chand said during his tenure in the government the constituency has undergone a rapid change and number of new projects in the shape of Degree College, sub-district hospital, better infrastructure of roads, grid stations and other such development projects have come up for the people.
