JAMMU, Sept 9: The 42nd Chhari Yatra of Shiv Sena (UBT) will depart from Raghunath temple of Jammu on October 2 in the form of a Shobha Yatra and will reach the cave shrine via Kol Kandoli and Deva Mai temples and on first Navratri, Chhari Poojan will be performed.
In a press conference here today Shiv Sena J&K president, Manish Sahni has appealed to the devotees to become a part of the Yatra and seek blessings of the Goddess.
He appealed to the Lieutenant Governor of J&K, Manoj Sinha, also Chairman of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, to create Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Yatra Circuit by connecting famous and historical temples of Jammu and Katra on the lines of Shri Ram Temple Yatra Circuit of Ayodhya.
“For this, start special bus service from Jammu Railway Station and Main Bus Stand Jammu so that the devotees get an opportunity to visit the historic temples and the economy of Jammu division may get a boost,” the Shiv Sena leader maintained.
Vikas Bakshi, general secretary; Balwant Singh, vice president; Raj Singh, president Kamgar Wing; Rohan, president Jammu City and Mangu Ram, secretary were also present in the press conference.
