JAMMU, June 18: The Chhari Yatra of Saroli Mata was flagged off by lighting the Holy Jyot at the Mahalaxmi Temple in Pacca Danga, here today.
The Yatra organized by Nav Durga Trust, was flagged off by J&K BJP Vice-President, Yudhvir Sethi, will be concluded at Pancheri Block in Udhampur district.
Before the commencement of the Chhari Yatra, Yudhvir Sethi, along with Rajesh Bhardwaj, Chairman of Nav Durga Trust, and other prominent personalities, performed Pooja and offered prayers for the peace and prosperity of the Union Territory.
The ceremonial prayers set a spiritual tone for the event, emphasizing the significance of the journey.
Addressing the devotees, Sethi highlighted the spiritual and social importance of the Chhari Yatra.
“This Yatra is not only a religious pilgrimage but also a journey towards peace and harmony. It is a symbol of our collective prayers for the well-being of Jammu and Kashmir,” he said.
He expressed hope that the Chhari Yatra would contribute to peace and tranquility among different sections of society, fostering a sense of unity and brotherhood.

Sethi further praised the efforts of the Nav Durga Trust in organizing this spiritual journey.
