JAMMU, Apr 9: On the occasion of Chaitra Navratri and 30th ‘Sanyas Divas’ of Yogrishi Swami Ramdev, ‘Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Katha’, the famous story of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the pioneer of Hindavi Swaraj, from the mouth of Swami Shri Govind Dev Giri Ji Maharaj, commenced today in the auditorium of Yog Bhavan, Patanjali Yogpeeth-2.
On the first day of the Katha, Swami Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna, while saluting the Vyaspeeth, requested Pujya Govind Dev Giri Ji Maharaj to start the ‘Katha’. During ‘Katha’, Swami Govind Dev Giri Ji Maharaj said that the coronation of Shivaji Maharaj was not the coronation of any king, however it was the best golden coronation in Indian history.
“After this, the second golden hour of Indian history was the consecration of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya on 22 January 2024,” said Swami Giri Ji Maharaj. He said in the 15th year of his age, Chhatrapati Shivaji vows to establish a Hindu empire. After that, after facing many types of calamities, struggling and being surrounded by enemies, he resorted to war policy, defeated them and established dominance over about 350 forts.
Speaking on the occasion, Swami Ramdev said that Sanatan Hindu religion has two sides – one is the ‘Sanatan Gyan Parampra’ which is our 1 billion 96 crore 8 lakh 53 thousand 122 years old cultural heritage and the other is the bravery of our ancestors of India. “Sanatan Dharma is eternal, but when people of anti-Sanatan Dharma, anti-national and demonic tendencies attack the values and ideals of Sanatan, the fighting spirit that is needed at that time is Hindutva,” Ramdev asserted.
Swami Ramdev said the objective of this ‘Katha’ is to take inspiration from the character of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and take forward the prestige of united India.
On this occasion, heads of all units related to Patanjali Yogpeeth, officers, heads of departments, teachers, students of all educational institutions like Patanjali University, Acharyakulam, Patanjali Ayurveda College, Patanjali Gurukulam, Patanjali Research Foundation, Patanjali Kanya Gurukulam, Vedic Gurukulam etc, besides ‘sanyasi’ brothers and ‘sadhvi; sisters of Patanjali Sanyashram were present.
