Chhibber inaugurates new premises of JKGB

JAMMU, May 17: Chairman, J&K Grameen Bank (JKGB), RK Chhibber, today inaugurated the new premises of JKGB Mishriwala.
While speaking on the occasion, Chhibber informed that JKGB has 217 branches in J&K. He also added that the bank is capable of doing micro as well as macro loans and has second largest coverage in J&K which covers all the remote areas of the State. “Bank has already financed various industrial units in SIDCO Complex, Samba”, he added.
He assured the customers that the bank is always there to empower them financially. He also highlighted the special concession rate @.50% to women of J&K for availing the loan facility from J&K Grameen Bank.
Regional Manager, Jammu, JKGB, KL Sharma also highlighted various lending schemes tailored by the bank for general public, available on easy EMIs i.e, Housing loan, Transport loan, Car loan, Education loan etc where rate of interest charged by the bank is very competitive.
Senior Manager, Vipan Gupta, MFFI Department, JKGB, also spoke on the occasion and informed that JKGB is successfully conducting State wide campaign regarding social security schemes including APY, PMJJBY & PMSBY and claims 100 percent settlement in PMJJBY & PMSBY. He claims that the bank in on highest position in the State for enrollments under social security schemes viz., APY, PMJJBY & PMSBY.
Branch Head, Mishriwala, Opinder Krishan Lidhoo, presented the vote of thanks. Besides huge gathering, the programme was also attended by local line departments and other local dignitaries of the area.
