JAMMU, Sept 12: Former Minister and senior Congress leader RS Chib today appealed to the party workers to gear up for the forthcoming Panchayat elections.
While addressing a meeting of Congress workers at Badyal Brahmana in RS Pura/ Suchetgarh sector Chib asked them to be fully prepared for Panchayat elections, which will be held in near future. Chib said that people need not pay any attention to the decision of the NC and PDP leadership to boycott the Local Bodies and Panchayat elections. Chib further added that the decision taken by both NC and PDP is nothing but a political gimmick, which is most unfortunate.

Prominent among those who participated included, Ch Mahinder Singh, Block president Suchetgarh, Ch Dewan Singh Inder Raj, Tula Ram and others.
