Chib asks Cong workers to gear up for Assembly polls

JAMMU, Apr 28: While lauding hard work put in by the Congress workers during Lok Sabha elections for Jammu-Poonch seat, former Minister and senior Congress leader, RS Chib today appealed the party workers to gear up their activities in view of coming Assembly elections in the State.
While addressing a largely attended public meeting of Congress workers of Suchetgarh constituency, Chib lauded the efforts of Congressmen, for working hard in support of party candidate, contesting elections from Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary Constituency.
Chib said that the Congress workers did an excellent job, inspite of our meager resources, as compared to BJP, who has gone all out, and spent huge amount on flags, hoardings and posters etc.
Congress leader asked the party workers to prepare themselves for the coming Assembly elections, which are likely to held, after few months. He also referred to the poor performance record of the BJP, inspite of the huge mandate given to them by the people of Jammu.
The workers while addressing the meeting expressed full faith in leadership of Rahul Gandhi and expressed confidence of the victory of Congress.
Prominent among those who spoke on the occasion included, Sahil Sharma, PCC Coordinator (Social Media), Surinder Singh, Ravi Singh, Capt Kehar Singh, Devinder Mahi- Youth Cong leader, Sham Lal, Surjit Singh, Gurdyal Singh, Balkar Singh, all Sarpanch and Ch Mohinder Singh, Ramesh Billa, Rocky Choudhary, Dr Bajala, Vijay Kumar, Ajaib Singh Mottan and Bhagat Sant Ram.
