Chib asks voters to defeat BJP

SUCHETGARH, Apr 4: Former Minister and PCC general secretary R S Chib today called upon the voters to defeat the candidates of BJP in order to save the secular fabric, unity and integrity of the State.
He further asked the people, not to fall prey of malicious and false propaganda, launched by the divisive forces, under the banner of BJP. “Our country is known as a great nation because of our unity in diversity and it is the Congress which can maintain its united face, he added while addressing a public meeting in support of the Congress candidate Madan Lal Sharma.
Mr Chib said that the Coalition Government of Congress and National Conference has achieved the development in all spheres of life and the special emphasis has been given to the rural and border areas of the State. He spoke at length about the development of R S Pura Sub-Division in which many projects were taken up.
Mr Chib appealed the people to vote for Madan Lal Sharma because the latter was an experienced politician who had always taken care of the problems of common man and contributed a lot for development of Jammu region.
Prominent among those also attended the meeting included, Kewal Krishan-Sarpanch, Capt  Janak Singh, chairman Panchayati Adalat, Col  Sukhdev Singh Chib, Capt Kashmir Singh, Capt  Prakash Singh, Satpal Singh Chib, Uttam Singh Chib, Balkar Singh, Krishan Singh, Prof  Jai Singh, Shail Singh, Pritam Singh, Surinder Singh, Master Tripat Singh, Baiskhi Singh, Balbir Singh and Panch Roshan Singh.
