Chib reviews facilities at Health institutions

Minister for Medical Education, R S Chib inspecting the medicase facilities to new born babies at GB Panth Children Hospital on Friday.

SRINAGAR, Nov 16: Minister for Medical Education, R S Chib urged upon the medical fraternity of G.B. Panth Children Hospital to ensure better health and medicare facilities to the new born children. He said this while inspecting the various wards for ensuring cleanliness in and around the Hospital besides making available facilities to the indoor and outdoor patients.
He was informed that G.B. Panth Children Hospital has been equipped with modern technology based ultra sound and other machinery for providing better facilities to the patients.
Later, the Minister took review of the facilities being made available at Government Medical College, Srinagar and G.B. Panth Children Hospital during a joint meeting of Board Members of G.B. Panth Hospital and Faculty Members of Government Medical College, Srinagar.
Among others, the Principal, Government Medical College, Srinagar, Dr. Rafiq Ahmad Pampori, Medical Superintendent, G.B. Panth Children Hospital, Dr. Muneer Ahmad Masoodi besides Cantonment Board Members attended the meeting.
Mr. Chib said that medical and para-medical staff in both these health institutions will be strengthened besides the infrastructure would also be upgraded to facilitate the people.
