SRINAGAR, June 3: Minister for Youth Services and Sports and Medical Education, R.S. Chib today conducted a day long tour of Baramulla and took stock of the pace of ongoing developmental works in various areas of the district including Pattan, Wakura and Saloosa.
The Minister also addressed a public gathering at Saloosa and sought people’s cooperation in implementing the welfare programmes and developmental schemes launched by the Government. He said Coalition Government was committed to the equitable development of all the three regions of the State, adding that a new era of peace and development has dawned in the state during last three years of the present dispensation.
Responding the demands of the people, Mr. Chib said that the government is well abreast with the problems of the people and all the resources are being pooled to redress their grievances. He said promises made to the people will be fulfilled in a phased manner.
Former MLA, Shoaib Lone also addressed the gathering.
