SAMBA, Nov 5: Chief Justice, High Court of J&K and Ladakh, Justice Tashi Rabstan, today visited District Court Complex, Samba and inspected infrastructure facility of the court complex and reviewed the pendency of all on going projects.
On arrival, the Chief Justice was accorded ceremonial guard of honour and was accorded warm welcome by the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Samba and other judicial officers, Deputy Commissioner, Samba, SSP, Samba and the President and members of the Bar Association, Samba
During the visit, the Chief Justice closely monitored the ongoing pending projects of the District Court complex Samba and also held meeting with the administration and reviewed the pending projects with the administration. The Chief Justice issued strict instructions to the executing agencies to complete the pending projects within the fixed period and avoid delay in order to obviate the possibility of escalation of the estimated costs so that impediments in the administration of justice are removed.
The Chief Justice also held detailed meetings with officers of the district administration Samba and members of the Bar Association Samba. The members of Bar Association Samba were assured sympathetic consideration of their demands.
Earlier the Lordships distributed wheel chairs and the Scooters among the differently abled individuals who were identified by the Social Welfare Department.
