KATHUA, Aug 18:A nine- year child drowned in a local stream while taking a bath at village Rolka in Bani tehsil of Kathua district today.
He has been identified as Suresh Kumar , S/o Ajit Singh of Rolka. As per reports, Suresh along with a group of children went to take a bath in the stream today and he slipped in the river and was flown by the current of water and drowned.
Later his body was fished out from the stream by the villagers and Bani police after taking the cognizance of the same handed over the body to family for last rites.
