JAMMU, Nov 20: Child Help Desk ‘Childline’ at Railway Station, Jammu in collaboration with Hemophilia Society celebrated Childline Se Dosti Week at Railway Station, Jammu.
Paramjeet Singh, ASSP GRP was the chief guest; Albeena Malik, SDPO Railways Jammu; V.K.M Tripathi, ASC (RPF) and Jugal Kishore, Station Superintendent were guests of honour and special guests on the occasion.
The chief guest hailed the activities undertaken by Child Help Desk team and lauded their innovative idea on Selfie Point activity for mass awareness.
Naresh Sharma, Dy. SP (GRP Line); Rohit Dev Singh, SHO GRP; Chetan Parkesh, SHO RPF Railway Station Jammu and other officials of GRP/RPF were also present.
The main aim of the programme was to provide awareness on Toll Free Number 1098 and healthy discussion on Child Rights and Child Protection from crimes like child trafficking, child labour, child abuse, good touch and bad touch.
A Selfie Point was established at Plat Form No 1. Number of children participated in the programme.
The programme was conducted under the supervision of Manjari Singh In-charge CIF, J&K.
The programme was concluded with vote of thanks by Sugam Anubhav, Coordinator CHD Railway Station, Jammu.
