Children explore new world of creativity at Natrang Theatre Workshop

JAMMU, Dec 31: Natrang Winter Theatre Workshop for Children is underway where the talented Jammu children are exploring a new world of creativity and innovation and they improvise five to six short plays every day.
The workshop has been conceptualized and devised by Padamshree Balwant Thakur wherein the children are working on various aspects of the art of storytelling and play-making processes.
This new approach by Natrang of working with children is yielding visible results as the participating children are demonstrating endless amount of confidence in public speaking and sharing new thoughts.
Away from their routine boring classrooms and usual school curriculum, they have found a new environment filled with highly inspiring, creative and innovative ideas.
They have found a space where they are being encouraged to express their thoughts using dramatics as an effective tool to connect with the world around them. Every year Natrang organises winter, spring and summer workshops for children where through creative games, improvisations and exercises the children explore their immense inborn inner abilities.
A play by Balwant Thakur is also being devised under the direction of Neeraj Kant in this workshop.
The workshop is being assisted by Kanan Kaur and coordinated by Mohd Yaseen.
Sumeet Sharma and Aarushi Thakur Rana are the visiting faculty of the workshop.
The participating children in the workshop are Advik Sharma, Mehak Chib, Araiya Shan, Dhanak Chandan, Vaibhav Mahajan, Ruhaan Chandan, Samkit Jain, Ruhani Jain, Nyra Gandotra, Nandita Mahajan, Kavish Sharma, Reevik Verma, Deeher Gupta, Dwijesh Dutta, Saanchi Dutta, Aaranaa Gupta, Sianet Magotra, Shikhar Mitdada, Priyal Gupta, Sanchi Dutta, Supria Gorka, Daivansh Singh, Daiwik Shan, Mrigasya Shan, Adira Gupta, Kavya Janydal, Deshna Jain, Anuvi Sharma, Kamakhya Bali, Jazz Shah, Nirvana Shah, Amayra Mahajan and Jayaditya Singh.
